A diagnostic for how you actually operate.
Four operating styles — Dominance, Influence, Steadiness, Compliance. Not a label. A map of where decisions speed up, where they slow down, and what kind of people you systematically underhire.
Dominance
Driver.
Decisive. Outcome-led. The speed comes from low tolerance for ambiguity — and so does the blind spot. Risk: disposable people.
Influence
Connector.
Energy-led. Great at front. Struggles when the work is lonely and the feedback loop is long. Risk: momentum mistaken for traction.
Steadiness
Operator.
Consistency. Quiet competence. Avoids conflict, which becomes the bottleneck before you realize it. Risk: polite stagnation.
Compliance
Analyst.
Precision. Standards. Will not ship something they don't believe in — which is also the thing that stops the business from shipping. Risk: perfection tax.
Why we use it.
DISC is a widely-used personality assessment — four operating styles first developed by psychologist William Marston in 1928. It remains the standard tool used by leadership teams, hiring managers, and operators to read how people decide, work, and lead.
We use it at Risepreneur because your profile predicts where the business slows down, which parts of the R·I·S·E framework feel natural, and which parts you'll resist. The business is often not a strategy problem — it's a DISC problem wearing a strategy costume.
Take the test
The standard DISC forced-choice format — 24 sets of four adjectives. Pick the word most like you and the word least like you. Mapped against the operating gaps the framework tends to surface. Nothing stored — your answers are yours.
